Questions about Sedation Dentistry
Q. Will I remember anything?
A. At the end of treatment, you’ll have little memory of what was accomplished.
Q. Can we talk about it before I go ahead with treatment?
A. During your initial examination appointment, we listen to you first. We discuss treatment options with you. You must feel perfectly comfortable about going forward with the care that you choose.
Q. Is Oral Conscious Sedation safe for me?
A. Sedation dentistry protocols have been safely used for over 30 years in millions of dental procedures. Before starting any treatment, we review your medical history and may need to contact your medical doctors with your permission. While you are sedated, you are continuously monitored using a device that checks your pulse, blood pressure and breathing.
Q. How many appointments will I need?
A. We will arrange your treatment so the least number of visits are needed. Whatever your primary concern is (pain, swelling, or maybe a broken front tooth) will be taken care of at your first sedated visit. That way you can feel better as soon as possible.
Q. Will my insurance cover treatment?
A. We’ll help you maximize your insurance benefits. Your insurance company doesn’t care about you…we do. We have many financial options to help you get the dental care you so desperately need…now!
